I HAVE BEEN  collecting your Christmas paintings for many years and it has broken my heart that due to the economy I have not been able to make my annual purchase for the last three years. The paintings on paper allow me to continue enjoying them at a price I can afford. In December I purchased this year’s painting and it is so beautiful, so now I am purchasing the only two other Christmas paintings I don’t have in oils.

A couple of years ago I wrote you telling you how we had surrounded my dying Mom with her beloved Hargroves, they were all around her and she loved them all so much, so her last days were spent gazing at your paintings, they brought her such peace. I have now brought my 85-year-old (Italian) father to live with me, and he has some of his Hargroves in his bedroom, and some have spilled into my bedroom. Every other room in the house is filled with the Hargrove paintings I have collected over 30 years. One day I will send you pictures of how wonderful they look, everyone who enters my house tells me how welcome they feel when they step into the house and how much they love the paintings. Thank you so much for all the memories you have provided our family with, please don’t ever stop painting.
